About ACS-SA at UC San Diego

ACS-SA is the largest pre-professional chemistry student organization at UC San Diego. ACS allows chemists to connect in a safe and diverse environment whether it be with faculty, industrial chemists, or fellow peers. 

 

ACS-SA at UC San Diego is an all-in-one resource for UCSD chemistry students, and we strongly encourage anyone with interests in chemistry to attend ACS-SA events, member or not. Attend any of our weekly events to learn more about the society in chemistry and enjoy the free food provided for anyone in attendance!

Come make edible water bottles (aka. popping boba) with us! Feel free to bring your own sweet beverage to create fun new flavors — colored, non-carbonated drinks work best. Learn about the chemistry behind how they’re made and discover how green chemistry principles can be applied to this process.
